Jonathan is CEO of Riverton with overall responsibility for the company’s strategy and operational delivery. He also holds a Senior Adviser position at Rothesay, Riverton’s parent company, where he has worked since 2009. Prior to this, Jonathan was Rothesay’s Chief Operating Officer where he was involved in all Rothesay’s transactions with both pension scheme trustees and insurance companies. During this time he also had oversight of Rothesay’s mortgage business and played an integral part in some of the key decisions and strategic direction of the function. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and before joining Rothesay he was a board director of HSBC Actuaries where he was UK Head of Corporate Pensions Consulting. Previous to this, he spent 15 years at Mercer as a European Partner. Jonathan’s deep and varied experience gives Riverton a strong basis to grow into an industry leader and develop innovative solutions in the later life lending market.
